Welcome to the Craskers Seth and Sam, we’re glad to have you both.
Our forums may seem a bit inactive at the moment but that’s due to the fact that we recently switched hosts. Our original forum was up around 6000 posts but our host decided to pull the plug and we lost it all and not all our members have signed up on the new one yet.
As Craskers, our main goal is the protection of SE Heytown, specifically the buildings we call the “Triangle” (Usher NT, Goldney PD, Cornelius General and the Craske Museum. Currently Heytown has very few zeds and having characters of lower levels, your first task is to gain XP anyway you can. Unfortunately Heytown may not be the place to do that easily.
As a group, we have no requirements of our members so you’re always free to go where and when you want. Pimbank to the SW of Heytown is the closest suburb that has any type of zed problem at the moment. We also have a few Craskers working with the Dribbling Beavers going head to head with the Big Bash. I’m a bit out of the loop on that one so I’ll let J Raimi fill you in on that one if you’re interested.
If you find yourself dead, we use Club Swabey as an indoor revive point or Mester Square if the doors are closed. Both are one block north/ north west of Usher. If you decide to venture outside of Heytown to find some zeds, you’re best bet is to let us know on the forums if you need a revive or healing and one of us will come to you.
Sam, you mentioned getting construction as one of your next skills, I’d suggest not. If I were you, I’d take all the skills that would help me gain XP before taking construction. We had a very long siege at Cornelius with upwards of 150 zeds outside the doors for about six months. We gained a number of new recruits during that time and a number of them were lower levels. Although noble in their unselfish nature wanting to take construction to help man the cades, we found that having Craskers who don’t need the XP cading while those who needed the XP spent their AP searching for FAKs, healing the wounded and shooting zeds was a much better strategy.
I would however recommend taking free running as your next skill, it’s probably the best skill you can get. Again, this is just my opinion and you both are free to do as you so choose.
Welcome to the Craskers, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Welcome to the Craskers Cannon, we're glad to have you. We're currently working to help out Pitneybank against the Big Bash. the longer we hold them there, the longer Heytown has. We're making regular runs to the Morrish NT 1 south Giddings with FAKs or revives at Warlord Square 1 south of Morrish. Feel free to jump in. When the Big bash moves out of Pitneybank they'll more than likely head to Santlerville and make a mess out of Heytown along the way. You can find our plans in the Raving craskers section in the Building status Forum that should now be open to you.

Hey guys, I'm Kenmichi, I've been hanging out in the Craske Triangle for a few weeks now restocking on ammunition and trying to keep the area safe from PK'ers and GK'ers. I'd like to join a large group of organized players. I'm new to UD, but learning pretty quickly and have a good idea of how I'm going to progress my character. www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1079213

Welcome to the Craskers Kenmichi, we're glad to have you. Sounds like you're familiar with the Triangle and SE Heytown. We're currently "on location" in Pittneybank helping out at the Morrish NT fighting off the Big Bash. You're welcome to come join us if you wish. You can free run there via Goldney PD E-SE to Giddings Mall and morrish is one block south. With the amount of zeds outside you'll have no problem gaining XP fast.
I just need your drink of choice and I'll add you to the wiki.

Damn, I moved up to Dowdney because I keep one of my two radios keyed into the Dowdney area, and saw that Anthony, one of the two entry points, was under assault. Which turned out to be a small handful of Zeds. :\
I'll make my way down to Morris when I have the AP. I secretly hope the fighting will continue on till I have 30 APs at least. hehe
Drink of choice: Sake.

More and more survivors are pouring in and the Big Bash is calling reinforcements...the Ridleybank Resistance Front. This is going to turn out to be one long drawn out siege and may rank right up there as one of the top 10 sieges of the game.

I'm Sean, my screen name is liens. I'm currently in Usher, reviving when needed at Club Swabey. Do you think the horde down at Morrish and Giddings will make their way to us? I'm preparing just in case (by drinking heaps of home made Arak, thanks to the long gone rice farmers of Heytown's countryside). My screen id is www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1090271

Welcome to the Craskers, Sean, we're glad to have. I noticed your fine work over the past two weeks and I'm sure you're familiar with the current situation.
As for the Big Bash down at Giddings, I'd bet my last beer on the fact that they'll make their way trough us to get to Dowdney which is rumored to be their last stop.

I reversed my profile name from sneil to liens to match up with my UD name. It's still me though. This might be a good time to point out that I got an alt named sneil who I keep far far away, and don't ever use to assist in any manner. Is this considered zerging? Am I a loser for having an alt?

Is this considered zerging? Am I a loser for having an alt? Go ask beefstick how many he has if you want to know about having too many.

Zerging and alt abuse is only when you have two characters in direct contact with each other. As a rule of thumb we ask that you keep alts at least one suburb away from each other and thats about it.
A number of our members have alts, I have 5 myself and you would be suprised to what other groups they belong to.
Beefstick has one alt in every burb I think.
